Scuba diving on the wonderful Greek island Samos

Samos Dive Center opened in 2007 when the new Greek diving law came into effect and is the first and oldest running dive center in Samos. The Dive center is SSI affiliated with number 718088. We cater to divers and snorkelers who want to explore the underwater world in Samos. The dive resort is insured by DiveAssure, and the equipment serviced by certified technicians and checked yearly by Bureau Veritas. Furthermore we ensure quality service through our dive boat Nireas, professional dive guides, SSI training from up to Divemaster level certificates and we offer Nitrox courses. In our shop we sell a wide range of new and used diving accessories and equipment.

Nireas, is a 8m fiberglass dive boat. On this boat we cater to divers, Discover scuba, and Snorkel trips. There is enough space for 12 passengers with space to relax in the sun or sit comfortably in the shade. On the boat we have O2, a first aid kit, and dive equipment. During our day trips we offer fresh water and fresh fruit.

Navigating the dive world

Exploring the magnificent underwater world is truely a one of a kind experience. However understanding how the certifications work might be quite daunting at first. Don't worry however, we created a simple to navigate overview for starting divers to help them on their way. In todays day and age it has never been easier to dive. Because of the standardisation within the industry you can train at different dive centers affiliated with different organisations and your certificates are universally accepted.
